Wilkins Tour 2022! The Craziness Continues!

January 2022 What a great way to start the year! On January 1st we went to the Rose bowl in Pasadena with Rachel and George!  Wait a second...Did I mentioned that we won 4 tickets to go to the Rose Bowl in Pasedena!!! Rob had to be back in Oregon so Rachel and George got to go!!!! What a great day…Great weather and a great game with Ohio beating Utah in the last seconds of the game 48 to 45! First ZIPPE event PD Paradise! We needed some repairs to get her on the road. Our 1973 Porsche 914 was mostly our summer driver in Central Oregon. We spent some time getting her ready for the Palm Desert Lifestyle! Tasks: Find good mechanic to fix a fuel line leak and adjust the parking break and determine safety needs overall, clean inside and out, fix a few things that simply didn’t work…Exterior passenger door handle, tensioners for the hood, Headlights and turn signals were upgraded…replace cracked dash with cover, order new seat covers and felt for door sides. 2021 Tour...The Craziness? 2021 ended on a high note!

  Journal 2021 Well WE Did something crazy!!! We sold our Sunriver home in November 2021! a lovely couple from California toured our home while we were in Boca Raton. Beck was visiting a client for training and I was goofing off around town…we were both headed to our first Rock Boat cruise casting off and out of Miami. Little did we know that our house was going to sell in such a short period of time that it would make many peoples head spin…were we ready? We ended up signing a sales agreement from the hotel room on November 7th, the morning of the day we set sail!
