Wilkins Tour 2022! The Craziness Continues!

January 2022

What a great way to start the year! On January 1st we went to the Rose bowl in Pasadena with Rachel and George!

Wait a second...Did I mentioned that we won 4 tickets to go to the Rose Bowl in Pasedena!!!

Rob had to be back in Oregon so Rachel and George got to go!!!! What a great day…Great weather and a great game with Ohio beating Utah in the last seconds of the game 48 to 45!

First ZIPPE event PD Paradise! We needed some repairs to get her on the road.

Our 1973 Porsche 914 was mostly our summer driver in Central Oregon. We spent some time getting her ready for the Palm Desert Lifestyle! Tasks: Find good mechanic to fix a fuel line leak and adjust the parking break and determine safety needs overall, clean inside and out, fix a few things that simply didn’t work…Exterior passenger door handle, tensioners for the hood, Headlights and turn signals were upgraded…replace cracked dash with cover, order new seat covers and felt for door sides. Our friend Neils was onsite to have some fun and work on her together!

Inside and out detail and she was ready to roll down the streets of Palm Desert!

Riding Bikes in the Desert! I did a bunch of research about Electric Assist Bikes and found a brand that stood out! Aventon! I bought mine used at Tri a Bike then found another online for Becky! Great Bikes! Lots of fun!!!

We got to spend time with mom and Pete as well at Rachel and George this spring. Dave’s 3 sisters came to visit together in March too!

REMODEL 279 TOLOSA//Paint entire interior//upgrade electrical Remodel Bathrooms- Dave Move old furniture out - Tommy Bahama moves in!

Glow in the dark ZOO with Rach and George Yep! We Bought a townhouse...the one we rented the year before which we loved! But we had to wait til our renter moved out so that we could move in and remodel!

279 Tolosa Before:

April - moved into 279 Tolosa and began quick remodel with paint done while we are visiting mom for her birthday in Laguna.
Next - Removal of old cabinets in both bathrooms, replaced with new cabinets and countertops in both bathrooms.! Thanks to Neil - our friend and excellent contractor/plumber that assisted through the process!

Dave added wall mounted TV’s in all rooms and was able to get all audio set up for the rooms in the place we just bought. We also replaced most of the furniture with a fun Tommy Bahama theme!

279 Tolosa After:

May - Sept in Sunriver, Or Dave heads north for Star Productions events (81) starts May 7th Beck lands at Cabin May 15th for the summer We enjoyed concerts at Old Mill including OAR/Dispatch, Train, Sammy Hagar, Jack Johnson… Lots of Star Productions Shows

Last BBQ in Sunriver! Daves last Central Oregon Show 10.22.22

Depart to PD by end of month to be ready to depart to Puerto Vallarta on 10/27. November Back to Palm Desert Dave starts Encore coachella valley 11.11.22 Fireplace Conversion Daves a bit grinchy!
